Here's the latest news from Artistic Painting Studio
and The Stencilled Garden.

The shop is definately different - from the Black
ceiling to the new SkimStone cement floor,
everything is taking on a new look. It's amazing to
me that I could take 6 weeks and still not be done
with the project......but, all the new finishes are
multi-layered and that takes time!!! I'll be
working on the remainder of the walls during the
next couple of months and hope to have everything
finished by the end of the year...(wow - that's not
too far away). The new shop walls feature several
new faux finishes with a stenciled border and an
all-over repeat design. A
LusterStoneTM section
was just completed and Venetian Plaster
walls are
in the works.
With still a long list of many different projects I
have planned for the store remodel, you are sure to
see something new every time you stop by. Hope to

My class schedule is posted on the Artistic Painting Studo web site and is
full of many different workshops to offer you all
the knowledge and experience you need to accomplish
any project you desire to create.
You will find classes for Stenciling, Faux Finishing
and Advanced Shading - as well as workshops for
LusterStone, European Textures, Venetian Plaster and
several new workshops for Modello's and SkimStone
concrete.
Modello's are a wonderful new approach to
the art of
stenciling - these adhesive backed stencils allow
just about any process you can imagine. This class
will cover many different looks that can be achieved
with these unique masking stencils.
SkimStone is a cement overlayment which
can be
applied indoors or outdoors - this is an easy to
install finish with limitless applications. This
class will prepare you for your project, as well as
stimulate your minds eye in creative applications.
