Happy Holidays!
December is one of my favorite months with all the
holiday activities, a little snow skiing (for Tyler
and I) and way too much baking (and eating).
Normally it's a slow time of the year for us, and I
take full advantage of it...Not this year! We are
still working on the new location, juggling several
job sites and planning to move the shop before the
end of the year....this December will not be very
slow for us. We are still trying to figure out how
we will get it all done.
Hope that all of you enjoy the holidays, spend time
with family and friends and eat too much good food!

OUR NEW LOCATION
Our new home is coming along (slowly). We have just
about finished the office and storage room, just
have crown and baseboards left to complete (let's
see how complicated I can get these). A couple more
days of skim coating (one more pass left for the
ceiling) and all the walls will be ready for their
new finishes - but this will have to wait...the
floor will come first.
I'm hoping to start our concrete floor with the Faux
Effects™ RS Crete sometime next week - trying to
have all the floors completed before moving day. As
busy as we are right now, the new studio will still
be in progress after we move in - so, you will see
some of the process still going on over the first
few months of 2007.
Our new studio is located at: 352 W. Bedford Ave.,
Suite 106, Fresno, CA 93710 (located off of Ingram
& Alluvial, behind Lowe's). Stop by anytime and see
the transformation in progress. During the month of
December we will still be open for business at our
current location on Palm & Bullard.

- December 20, 21, 22 & 23: 10am - 2:30pm & Saturday 10am - 4pm
We have added a couple of Saturdays to make your
holiday shopping easier.

CLASS SCHEDULE
I'm currently working on re-creating all of our
classes that we offer for the new year. This is a
little time consuming, but will be well worth the
effort. You can look forward to many new classes
this year working with new products by Faux
Effects™
Most of the new classes will not be offered until
March, so in the meantime I have put a couple of our
most popular classes on the schedule for January and February.
- January 18th: Designer Faux Finishes, 9am-4pm
- January 26th: Stipples & Swirls (Beginning Stenciling), 9am-11:30am
- January 26th: Shading & Shadows, 1pm-3:30pm
- February 23rd: Designer Faux Finishes, 9am-4pm
Look for the new class listing to be posted by the
end of January - many new classes featuring lot's of
new products.

NEW WEB SITE
Artistic Painting Studio has a new look! My web
designer and I have been working on this project for
several months and our new web site went live about
a week ago. Hope that you enjoy browsing the new
site - we have added a shopping page for faux tools
and supplies. The new website is a work in progress,
so as you visit now and then you should be seeing
new pages, new photos in the gallery and will have
some helpful tips and tricks pages soon.
