My latest project has been creating a new collection of stencil designs - The Black & White Collection. This collection of designs was created with the decorative painter in mind. All stencils are single overlay and cut in the heavier 10mil mylar.

I was honored with the opportunity to participate in the Meeting of the Masters this past weekend in Dallas, TX - and we had an incredible response to the new collection of stencils. It was so inspiring to hear how many of you are using stencils in your decorative painting creations and how excited you were to see new designs to work with.

The Artistic Painting Studio class schedule has been posted - we currently have classes scheduled through July 2008. We are always keeping our classes "fresh" and adding new classes to the schedule.

New for 2008 - Classic Contemporary Style and Artistic Cabinetry Workshop - both of these workshops offer wonderful new finishes that will "WOW" your clients. Looking forward to seeing you in class!

The Meeting of the Masters was history in the making! This past weekend in Dallas, TX was the most incredible group of masters that have ever gathered together. If was such a wonderful time of sharing, inspiration and being able to meet some of the most gifted individuals in our industry.

This was truly a celebration of the arts, as we all presented our talents - shared our knowledge and demonstrated many techniques during this event. Faux Effects International, Inc. created an environment that was inspiring and allowed us all to share. I'm looking forward to the next gathering - many thanks to Faux Effects for this event.

 Clay Pot Cookie Jars

With the holidays right around the corner, I thought a great project for the month of November is Clay Pot Cookie Jars. I have recently been asked to create several of these for upcoming magazine articles (and I'm still working on three of them) - but, this is such a fun project and makes a wonderful gift.
